ABOUT
Baila Nova brings the timeless sound of Brazilian music into the present.
Blending the warmth of Bossa Nova, Samba and MPB with jazz, Latin rhythms and a distinctly modern sensibility, Baila Nova moves between Brazilian classics, unexpected reimaginings of familiar songs and original material - all filtered through the band’s signature Brazilian Vintage Revival sound.
Based between Barcelona and Los Angeles, Baila Nova has built an international audience through intimate performances and cinematic music videos, reaching more than 125 million views and 250,000 subscribers on YouTube.
The band’s sound is rooted in a deep love for Brazilian music, while never trying to simply recreate the past. Vintage textures, understated arrangements and a soulful approach give the music a character that feels familiar without being nostalgic.
Warm, elegant and a little unexpected, Baila Nova is Brazilian music viewed through its own lens - music with history, atmosphere and soul.
